Caesars Entertainment has the most filthy properties ever seen. From the pools being shut down due to the high bacteria levels in the pool water at Ballys and Planet Hollywood, Caesar’s Palace Legionnaires disease more then once, when they owned the Rio there was an out break of Norovirus during the WSOP and another outbreak within 2 years. The back of the house areas of their properties are disguising, honestly the county health department is a joke, they should have substations inside every hotel staffed with people not on the take-

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if a bankruptcy is in Caesars Entertainments future, they absolutely ruined the Rio, not a bit of maintenance after the Rio sale was announced in 2019, they dismantled and stole everything they could before Dreamscape took over earlier in 2024. Let’s hope the partnership with World of Hyatt and the Rio keeps every thing outstanding and upscale.

Who would buy it? And what exactly are they buying? I suppose the new owner will become landlord of all of the shops and restaurants that are there, right? If so, I guess we can expect the buyer to be someone like Simon Property Group.

Ask yourself this, “In the first place, why would you buy a business that’s billions in debt?”. Did Eldorado really think their management expertise would really make it profitable?. Eldorado had to see profit in the future and breaking up a company and selling it’s assets are a good way to make it profitable. I think the promenade sale is just the tip of the iceberg.

While we’re on the topic of Caesars, need some info on the recently demolished Flamingo Go Pool. Will the new pool be completed by the beginning of next Spring’s pool season (or at least prior to May 2025)? Will they still have poolside daybeds with private wet decks? We need to know the renovation plan!

You should have had the Miss America candidates sign you and then got the signatures tattooed. That way you would have all of them forever. I don’t quite have $275 million but that seems kind of low for such a prime piece of real estate. Don’t see how selling that property puts a dent in Caesar’s $12 billon debt. Kind of sad and funny. Harrahs/Caesars put so much work and capital into getting that continuous property from Harrah to Planet Hollywood and the property behind it. Now Eldorado/Caesars is just randomly selling everything. But then again the casinos and dirt were sold to private equity long ago.
