Thia state sponsored theft, and as a victim of it, the disgusting practice of stealing money by casinos to fill the gaming board, casinos, and states coffers is one of the most appalling things I have ever seen.

Want proof they are stealing…look at the fine print? Who reads a ticket that reflects money you put into the machine.

There they sit around a big oval table bouncing words like ‘resort fees’ and ‘paid parking’, trying to conjur ways that they can legally edge Vegas Visitors out of their money, even when they win.
And this is nothing different. Just another angle, hoping that the customer will not only forget to ca$h their ticket in, but neglect to ca$h it in within the newly set time limits OR even possibly lose or toss the ticket altogether. Often times, they’ll even leave the cashier window short-handed so that the line to ‘ca$h out’ will be even longer than usual, thus tempting patrons to procrastinate in standing in line for their winnings til a later date.
Now, even though Freemont and The Orleans are both Boyd properties, The Orleans gives chips back whereas it’s counterfeit cousin gives those tickets, (which also aids them in “tracking” you).
So, given the choice between the two. . . Sure, Boyd may still end up with my money. . . It happens 😎 But it’s still best to play things as wisely as possible, amen?
