I think if someone walks past a bank of machines that are in an advantage state and no one’s at them, they just got lucky and are perfectly fine. The people who intimidate, harass, lie, and swoop while you pee are vultures, not some lucky schlub who just happened to have a little knowledge.

In reply to Jake. Well run casinos don’t care who plays their slots. The profit is the same regardless. Most AP’s are degenerate gamblers and play 100x what the average patron does. Here in Reno they have all but removed all AP games. As a result their revenues are down YOY. The MGM situation was unique as people were literally living on their properties for free and doing AP. I applaud MGM to not allow their properties to be used as homeless shelters. Again smart casino managers want people playing slots on their floors. They don’t care who it is, and it doesn’t affect their bottom line at all.

Personally, the issue falls on management for choosing these slots in the first place. Getting angry that people are considering the rules and mechanics when playing is just unreasonable. So in my opinion, these slots should just be banned – problem solved. But of course, the casino can’t help scamming normies with progression/persistence slots and unfortunately these casual players are suffering as a result, having to deal with vultures and having a poor gaming experience.
If I’m honest I have 0 sympathy for the vultures themselves however, these people 99% of the time are the scum of the earth if we’re all honest these are just not good people, hence the constant scamming and aggressive behavior.
But unfortunately I just don’t know how banning these players can be applied in a fair and consistent way. Sometimes I see relatively inoffensive vultures that barely even check kicked because a more seasoned vulture in a large group that’s checking every 5 minutes 24 hrs a day manages to convince staff and this way they remove their competition. It’s just a horrible situation that can easily be prevented if the slots were removed.

I don’t think the casinos should take away the rewards earned by playing certain kinds of machines.

Now, if the players are abusive to other guests, then their player’s card should be revoked.

I am confused, you define Vulture, and from it we can all relate to that over the shoulder watcher that creeps you out. Then you are standing around 3 empty machines, a person walks by, and decides to sit at the one both they and the casino manager deemed the most likely to pay out. How is that a vulture? If I lost my comps and free play without bothering anyone, or by the sounds of it, even sitting next to someone, I would be livid.

I went to Vegas this past weekend, im a smart player, i was at The Horseshoe, and Paris, i paid a total of over 500$ for 2 nights, and, the casinos have really altered the machines in thier favor, i lost over 2000$ trying many different machines, and I’m very observant and i didnt see anyso called Vultures, then i had frre rooms at Sunset Station, its a beautiful Casino but with very corrupt machines that relly steal from the tax payer us We the People, example i played a machine that eas eating my hundreds i then bet maximum net of 2$ i was almost broke and extremely frustrated, this was my last chance to try to get some of my money back i finally hit the bonus, was all excited because im betting max bet, it was so depressing and degrading, when all was said and done i won a dismal 11$. And it happens all the time. Heres what needs to happen, The Gaming Commission meeds to be more vigilant in making sure these machines are fair, i can asure you they are not, these Casinos are manipulating the truth with fake, controversy to create their own propaganda, example Dragon Link , i read its getting a overhaul on casinos favor but their accusing another Company of using similar cheaperachines with same principal. Just like with this story they are creating yhis propaganda to get these machines even tighter, they don’t want no one to win, they want tourists only with thier deep pckets because these people are strret smart their Naive and simpletons, to me thats the Casinos taking advantage of these meek people, And thats a crime in my book, Casinos were first built by corrupt Mafia, crime boss’s. And Indian Casinos are getting R of the hard working backs of hard working american citizens. I think in long run we would be better without them, it causes a very bad core of the heart of this country. We need a another system added to our government, that would over see these Casinos with a type of Checks and Measures. All i know is that at one time you could really get lucky playing your favorite game back like before 2010, now, its really boring and frustrating and stressful, they have taken that away plus the price of food , water , and everything really is so expensive, bottom line its the Casinos who have become so greedy, that if they continue at this rate, we could very well see them all go bankrupt. The machines are righed, answer = Gaming Commission doing a serious Audit, unless they are in bed with them.
