Exactly. They should just build it on the site of the stalled All Net Arena. If they had don’t that initially the hotel could’ve been opened by Fall 2024.
Ideally it should’ve been built across from the Fashion Show Mall, but I don’t see Wynn selling that land anytime soon, especially to a hotel brand that could eclipse it.

Just keep it the way it is, other then some updating. Hard Rock doesn’t have to put there guitars on everything. Just keep it as the Mirage, Hard Rock will still make plenty of money. People like the Mirage, incase you haven’t noticed Hard Rock

In reply to Mark. I love the Mirage Hotel and Volcano Erupting. And always wanted to see Tigers in Zigfried and Roy's Magic Shows and Never Got To and now Dolphins and Tigers are Gone For Good. They Should Leave The Mirage Alone and Build Yet Another Dumb Guitar Hotel Somewhere Else.

In reply to Ed. Look at a map, Ed. You'll see that the location means the guitar will be visible all the way down to the south side of the Strip because of the way the road bends there. At night when it lights up, it will be the beacon that Luxor and/or the Stratosphere pretend to be.

They lost me like MGM did with poor Video Poker Pay-tables at the .25 and .50 level. (7/5 DDB) The sent me a survey and I told them of that displeasure. They wrote me back and said it was comprable to VP Paytables on the strip. I replied, I can walk next door to Caesars or across the street to Harrahs and get 8/5 DDB. Or any other CET property for that matter. It was crickets after that.

BIG GIANT GUITAR HOTEL AND CASINO–Different lipstick on a different pig. of course there is the chance they will come to their senses and realize the design is terribly inefficient and simply make each side of the building a video wall and just put a guitar on it. Take that sphere!

In reply to Andrew. Andrew - I totally agree with you. I think that is why you don't hear about major new projects. Even mid size places, like that Hyatt by the airport (think it is Dream hotel) have been moth balled. What I wonder is when economy tanks what will happen to the Caesars properties? That deal when ElDorado bought Caesars had to be financed with a ton of debt. I see the economy affecting the Rio refresh as well. Hopefully Dreamscape can hold onto it and start when the economy gets better.
