In reply to Cj. It's a common complaint of shows now. They have to fend for themselves, largely. Back in the day, casinos were invested in the success of shows and offset the costs. Now, not so much.

The era of the Vegas revue is dead. Times change, so do tastes, but something is lost when there’s not a Vegas revue for future generations to enjoy. We use to go to Vegas for entertainment we couldn’t get back home. (Yes, some of that still exists.) But now so many go for stars that are too lazy to tour, and can make as much money from the entertainment capitol of the world without having to trek from city to city. A great loss.

In reply to Jeff. Heartbroken that Extravaganza is closing. I was there for the shows opening night. I have been a dozen times. Silvia Egred and Victor Ponce are extraordinary talents. I am blessed that they have become friends. I hope Silvia and Victor are able to return to WOW.

Extravaganza was great but Bally’s (Horseshoe) didn’t do enough to publicize this Show (don’t just leave it up to the Producers!) I’m so over Cirque anything since 2004 (especially with Zumanity gone!) Maybe Virgin Hotel will grow a brass pair and take this Production as a residency in one of it’s venues?

I was one of those that sat in an audience of 19 people and watched a full-on performance. The 19 of us were social distanced in the audience but we screamed and applauded as loud as we could. On the way out, the house manager told me it takes 50 people to put on the show, but also mentioned how glad he was that Caesar’s kept the show running instead of shutting it down. So, bravo to the cast for persevering the past couple of years.
