There’s been some movement from the casino in recent months, however. Someone or some group upstairs in management realized that early on post-opening, there wasn’t much demand and few gamblers in their casino. We visited in Feb 2024 and gambled for two half days with a low to moderate amount of coin-in. Their casino marketing sent us a 4-night comped room offer with $300 free play attached; we booked and stayed on that offer during the first week of May 2024. In addition, they instituted a tier match upgrade promo that has now been extended through September 2024. They’ve at least drummed up some small incentives through these described offers in order to draw some foot traffic/ customer base.

This place is immaculate and the service we obtained during our May comped stay was excellent; one can’t really visit this place and not be impressed by the surroundings..it’s a foofy, luxurious, and expensive new resort. Even those types of locales need butts in seats to compete; we’ll see how they progress after removal of what appears to be a problem source.

There is evidence that the casino management is at least making some moves to attract foot traffic / get butts in seats, perhaps realizing that no matter how immaculate or luxuriously presented a resort might be you still gotta have customers.

Our stay there was without flaw with excellent service while surrounded by luxury at every turn. The casino itself is somewhat sterile in that there are limited video poker ( with poor pay tables) and 3:2 blackjack minimums are exorbitant. Despite the tradeoffs, our stay there was enjoyable due to the comped room offer. We’d stay there again if those comped rooms show up again. In some ways, they’re now at least attempting to incentivize gamblers as described. We’ll see..wish them well.

Lets face it…… Everything on Las Vegas Boulevard north of Circus Circus is struggling. The foot traffic is limited at best. Very close to naked city and lower end motels etc. I don’t believe anyone or anything will help this end of the strip.

This was pretty predictable. Dave Grutman has zero experience in real world outside of his Miami bubble. Same goes for the other people on this casino. Ego clowns
