Country music gets mocked, and rightfully so, but it’s a bankable genre. The country bumpkins love their twang, and the country gals think tractors are sexy. How Caesars isn’t selling those tickets ASAP and banking all that cash months in advance, I don’t understand. The industry standard any more is to announce major artist tours ASAP, sell the tickets and let fans wait as long as possible before you deliver the product. Selling tickets a year in advance is not uncommon for legacy artists. People are currently buying tickets for Metallica shows that are more than 18 months away, and those tickets aren’t cheap. Lots of short-term interest being made off of that ticket revenue!
