Would you really want this team here? Any time the A’s have put together really good competitive teams they turn around and do a fire sale of all their good players and become garbage again. If they sell to a different ownership group then let’s talk.

I think this is a terrible Idea! We have enough teams & arenas! Who will pay for the A’s stadium? The locals of course! How much more do we still owe for the Allegiant stadium? NO NO NO thank you but NO!

In reply to Jp. I use to work at the Rio years ago and most of that is the employee parking lot. So I guess the employees would get screwed. I wonder if they calculated in the drive-threw car backup for the 2 In-N-Out? Maybe they could just build one Chick-fil-A with like 25 lanes!

My vote would be for like 20 Stratosphere Towers all bunched up like giant trees. I’m so over every sports league wanting to kiss our ass after snubbing us for decades. And the last thing we need is more traffic from sports in the resort corridor.

In reply to Jp. There are already 10,000+ spaces within walking distance across the three hotels. And there would be about 10 acres of free land left over. Surface parking can be about 240 spaces per acre. So, that's 2,400 spaces or multiples of that if they use a parking ramp. As for access roads, this site is much better suited than many MLB stadiums.

And park….where? Two, three lane access roads? Maybe if that large old coast warehouse to the West is bought for additional space.
