In reply to Erik. I saw one of the preview shows. I thought it sucked but then I dislike traditional Cirque shows in general. I know it's not Cirque but you can't deny the "borrowing" of the style. Your "Poach Talent" is probably the best chance they have but I really doubt they'd do that.

In reply to Alice. Sorry, but none of that is true. Disney theme park tickets are just as expensive as pre-COVID inflation. Yet, attendance at Disney parks is up 30% from last year. This isn't complicated: The show sucks so people don't want to pay to see it.

I agree 100% with the story. The technical aspect is amazing but the story is predictable and somewhat boring. All in all I enjoyed but it needs a re-do!

This show is something different and out of the box. Maybe in these times people need uplift and a story with a message�?Something that actually has the potential to wake people up and out of what’s to be expected. This show is powerful and unique. It’s not a dime a dozen or a quick gag. People leave touched and inspired. Keep in mind that the world is still getting back to “normal�?and we are in a state of inflation and financial crisis. Why are ticket sales low? Because the world is still trying to recover from one of the most devastating blows in history. Nowadays people write more negatively then they do positive. When people leave with a positive experience it impacts them and that is all the energy needed to expend. Negative words are mostly left by people with nothing better to do. Stay asleep then world and continue business as usual or wake up to the beauty of love and balance restored in the hopes for creating a better future. Enough shallow shows, this one actually packs depth. Anyone not willing to face that is not willing to face themselves. Some people are dumb and just want a cheap escape and that can be found elsewhere. All of the minds and talent in this show are like no other. This show has broken and pushed boundaries creating an incredible synergy full of connection and passion with the people involved. Yes, it can always improve for the better so we’ll hold space for that. This is a spectacular show and can only get better in time.

Looks like the character IO is doing a bit of a ripoff on the Lelo character from The Fifth Element. Tho her hair is pink instead of orange, her costume top is copying that too of the bandage like appearance of Lelo’s costume early in the movie.

Great article! I couldn’t agree more. How about, bring back Le Reve. That was my favorite show! Funny how you mention the names of the producers on the billboards. I thought the same thing to myself, “Who the hell are these guys and who cares??�?br /> One thing I disagree with is #3. Nothing annoys me more than seeing peoples cell phone screens or photography flashes in a dark room while a show is going on. It’s a bad distraction. Other than that, great article. I hope the producers leave their ego at the door and recreate the show show entirely.
