What about handicap parking? These are now farther from elevators on 3rd floor. More walking. Kinda defeats the object of making handicap parking easier for us who rely on it. It should be free for us as it is most everywhere else. Thanks for nothing. By the way most of the “pay�?spaces on 3rd floor are always empty. So who’s making money on the empty spaces?? Duh.

In reply to Free Willy. I was in downtown Chicago two years straight for triathlon races and paid for parking both times. Once at the hotel and the other year in a lot a block away since it was better pricing. I just figured it was part of the deal for being there.

I stayed there in February, my first stay since the change in ownership and I was not happy. The Stratosphere was my favorite, it was awesome, the only Casino Hotel I could stay a full 24hrs and never leave the property and have a blast at any time of the day or night. They let you have fun in sin city and created a atmosphere to do just that. I can’t believe it’s mall was empty and now they want to charge to park in what should probably be HANDICAPPED PARKING!!! As a handicapped driver I have a problem with this!
I think Downtown just turned into the only place I plan to stay in Vegas! It’s The real Vegas anyway.

I called the Golden Nugget poker room last night to inquire about the parking fee, they told me they would validate my parking, my brother and I will not pay to park and go play poker for hours on our upcoming trip, this is where I draw the line, you have to use your feet and walk away from corporate greed where you can, sometimes you can’t avoid it…

I don’t think that anyone perceives Las Vegas as a value destination anymore, unless they haven’t been to Vegas in the last 5 or 10 years. It’s something we remember fondly. The only things that were a bargain my last trip were prime rib at Ellis Island and liquor at Walmart. At home I have to buy liquor at a liquor store, 10am to 8pm, it’s barbaric.
