The “unofficial” name has been the “Sheetole” as long as I can remember. It was mostly due to a sewer problem.

The only mistake with the rebrand to ‘The Quad’ was to implement it before the room updates and Linq related building work had been completed. This leads to people suggesting “The Quad is still a dump” in online reviews.

Perhaps they can just re-re-brand it “The Q” and only have to remove 3 letters from the signs.
