I think Wynn is making a very big mistake here. We have been with Wynn Resorts for over 25 years and our loyalty to Wynn is now being reduced to point play, just like every other casino. We live on the east coast and we visit at least 2 times per year. This is disheartening to us. We can spend our money elsewhere. We have been RFB for over 20 years and now we would have added expense in a hotel room and dining?
We’ll find another venue!!

I don’t think any Strip casino will ever do meaningful local business. Locals don’t like going to the Strip..myself included

Much more than just reducing table minimums would be needed to attract locals, better video poker, affordable eating establishments, and more populist use of space currently occupied by designer high end stores selling five figure ladies handbags would be a decent start… Getting people to change their routines is a big challenge, Wynn is a very beautiful property that has relied on conventions and high rollers thus far, their expectations to feed the corporate trough through better penny slot player benefits reeks of a Hail Mary…
